Monsters of Rock

Monsters of Rock airlie beach nusic festival

With over 10,000 live concerts combined, Monsters of Rock are indeed a ‘super group’ featuring Australian Rock Royalty.

Playing brand new songs mixed with ‘hits and classics’ from their extensive catalogues from their legendary Screaming Jets, Rose Tattoo, Faceplant and Billy Thorpe, it’s almost impossible to imagine the depth and wealth of adventure (and indeed shenanigans), which they have experienced.

This is ’Music For All Generations’, with the Monsters focus on performing all-ages events. With an unbridled enthusiasm the Monsters passion for rock becomes available for a wider audience. ‘Monsters of Rock’ provides the opportunity for Gen X and Baby Boomers to share the Classic Rock Experience with their kids and grand kids.

Taking what was best from the music and scene of their earlier years, with songs that a generation lived and grew up through, comes a brand new format where their kids can access this, transporting good times and classic rock through time to now! This is new live music experience that can be enjoyed by the whole family… “With kids ourselves ranging from 3 – 21 years we thought it would be cool if entire families could share a real Rock Experience in family friendly venues at a family friendly time.” ‘Brothers in Rock’, Grant Walmsley Freebird and Craig ‘Rosie’ Rosevear, the Screaming Jets ultimate and most lethal and loved guitar/drums combo reunite for the first time in a decade. And its guitar hero fest too! Walmsley and Rose Tattoo guitarist extraordinaire Dai Pritchard, two of Australia’s most respected axe men, come out swinging with their Marshall amps and Gibson guitars … argh! …

And rounding of this powerhouse is the highly acclaimed Paul Stewart Coxon from classic 90’s grunge band Faceplant on bass. With four lead singers, (all front men in their own right), sharing the vocal duties and fun, this is the rock experience you cannot miss.
